PAPA PURUSHA (THE ALL SIN)

Haribol !Hare Krishna!PAMHO!I hope this finds you in the pink of health .Oh  yeah before I forget Happy Rama Ekadasi to all my wonderful readers.Well on this  very auspicious day as all of us are informed we are restricted from grains ,But the question now is why are we restricted from grains???? Well this is because, the all sin Papa purusha will reside on grains.Papa purusha's body is made up of all  types of sin .Here are the all types of sin his body made up of.

  1. Head was made of the sin of murdering a Brahmin,
  2. Two eyes were the form of the sin of drinking intoxicants,
  3. Mouth was made of the sin of stealing gold,
  4. Ears were the form of the sin of having illicit connection with the spiritual master's wife,
  5. Nose of the sin of killing one's wife,
  6. Arms the form of the sin of killing a cow,
  7. Neck made of the sin of stealing accumulated wealth,
  8. Chest of the sin of abortion,
  9.  Lower chest of the sin of having sex with another's wife,
  10.  Stomach of the sin of killing one's relatives,
  11.  Navel of the sin of killing those who are dependent on him,
  12.  Waist of the sin of self appraisal,
  13.  Thighs of the sin of offending the guru,
  14.  Genital of the sin of selling one's daughter,
  15.  Buttocks of the sin of telling confidential matters,
  16.  Feet of the sin of killing one's father, and his
  17. Hair the form of lesser, less severe sinful activities. In this way,
A horrible personality embodying all sinful activities and vices was created.
His bodily color is black, and his eyes are yellow. He inflicts extreme misery upon sinful persons."
According to the instructions of Lord Vishnu, every kind of sinful activity that can be found in the material world takes its residence in non Ekadasi foodstuff (grain). Whoever follows Ekadashi is freed from all sins and never enters into hellish regions.

HAPPY RAMA EKADASI!!!!!!

Ekadasi is a Sanskrit word for number 11. It means the 11th day of each half of the month in the Vedic lunar calendar. So there are two Ekadasi days in each month on the Vedic calendar. One is in the first half of the month whilst the moon is waxing, or growing. This is known as the bright fortnight. The second is in the second half of the month whilst the moon is waning, or shrinking. This is known as the dark fortnight.
Ekadasi has been set aside for us to observe a fast to please Krishna and is a special day for devotees. Srila Prabhupada asked us to fast on Ekadasi by avoiding eating grains and beans, anything made from them or anything that has them in it. This means avoiding bread, pasta, lentils, rice, as well as beans and preparations made from bean flour.
When observing Ekadasi we should think of it as part of our devotional service. The fast does not need to be extreme and you don't have to starve yourself. Some of us may be able to offer a full fast as their Ekadasi sacrifice, avoiding all foods and drinking only water or juice, but not everyone can do this. Srila Prabhupada said we can observe the fast by avoiding food with grains and beans and eating only light foods. We should not overdo our fasting. Fasting should cause buoyancy of feeling and not tiredness or fatigue. We should only practice as much fasting as our capacity allows.
We fast on Ekadasi in order to minimize the demands of the body so we can engage more of our time in the service of the Lord by chanting or performing some other devotional service. The best thing to do on these fasting days is to remember the pastimes of Krishna and to hear His Holy name being sung and chanted. In the book "Nectar of Devotion" Srila Prabhupada tells us the purpose of Ekadasi is to increase our love for Krishna. On the day of Ekadasi we should plan to chant more rounds and read more devotional literature. If possible we should spend more time with devotees at the temple.
So as we can see Ekadasi is a time for us to step back from our normal routine and take stock of our spiritual lives. It is a time for us to increase our practice and to put a little more effort into our devotional service.
Of course you should always plan ahead and have a few Ekadasi recipes up your sleeves to impress your friends and to offer to Krishna. You can get a head start with our recipes here at Krishna.com: Ekadasi Recipes

1) To the Supreme Lord, whose form is the embodiment of eternal existence, knowledge, and bliss, whose shark-shaped earrings are swinging to and fro, who is beautifully shining in the divine realm of Gokula, who I (due to the offense of breaking the pot of yogurt that His mother was churning into butter and then stealing the butter that was kept hanging from a swing) is quickly running from the wooden grinding mortar in fear of mother Yasoda, but who has been caught from behind by her who ran after Him with greater speed--to that Supreme Lord, Sri Damodara, I offer my humble obeisances.

2) (Seeing the whipping stick in His mother's hand) He is crying and rubbing His eyes again and again with His two lotus hands. His eyes are filled with fear, and the necklace of pearls around His neck, which is marked with three lines like a conch shell, is shaking because of His quick breathing due to crying. To this Supreme Lord, SriDamodara, whose belly is bound not with ropes but with His mother's pure love, I offer my humble obeisances.

3) By such childhood pastimes as this He is drowning the inhabitants of Gokula in pools of ecstasy, and is revealing to those devotees who are absorbed in knowledge of His supreme majesty and opulence that He is only conquered by devotees whose pure love is imbues with intimacy and is free from all conceptions of awe and reverence. With great love I again offer my obeisances to Lord Damodara hundreds and hundreds of times.

4) O Lord, although You are able to give all kinds of benedictions, I do not pray to You for the boon of impersonal liberation, nor the highest liberation of eternal life in Vaikuntha, nor any other boon (which may be obtained by executing the nine processes of bhakti). O Lord, I simply wish that this form of Yours as Bala Gopalain Vrndavana may ever be manifest in my heart, for what is the use to me of any other boon besides this?

5) O Lord, Your lotus face, which is encircled by locks of soft black hair tinged with red, is kissed again and again by mother Yasoda, and Your lips are reddish like the bimba fruit. May this beautiful vision of Your lotus face be ever manifest in my heart. Thousands and thousands of other benedictions are of no use to me.

6) O Supreme Godhead, I offer my obeisances unto YouDamodara! O Ananta! O Vishnu! O master! O myLord, be pleased upon me. By showering Your glance of mercy upon me, deliver this poor ignorant fool who is immersed in an ocean of worldly sorrows, and become visible to my eyes.

7) O Lord Damodara, just as the two sons of Kuvera--Manigriva and Nalakuvara--were delivered from the curse of Narada and made into great devotees by You in Your form as a baby tied with rope to a wooden grinding mortar, in the same way, please give to me Your own prema-bhakti. I only long for this and have no desire for any kind of liberation.

8) O Lord Damodara, I first of all offer my obeisances to the brilliantly effulgent rope which binds Your belly. I then offer my obeisances to Your belly, which is the abode of the entire universe. I humbly bow down to Yourmost beloved Srimati Radharani, and I offer all obeisances to You, the Supreme Lord, who displays unlimited pastimes.
